The sole fact that September's Monthly Report goes out half a month later than it should tells you everything about the amount of work spent on the js13kGames competition this time.
It took four years to execute, but now the ongoing (started April 13th, ends April 26th) fifth edition of the online Gamedev.js Jam have a brand new challenge: js13kGames.
October was full of js13kGames tasks with a bunch of unplanned distractions, but we've managed to release a new Halloween level in Flood Escape, so it wasn't that bad eventually.
Even though this year's js13kGames competition is over, there are still some interesting opportunities ahead if you'd like to participate in a game jam (or two).
